Of the actual role or job of a fire fighter. They don’t understand what a fire fighter does on a day to day basis and what it is that they’re looking for. It would be fair to say that you really need to have a good understanding of the job that you’re applying to no matter what industry you are in.

MFB, NSFR, Q, WA – they don’t understand the organisation they are applying to enough so they can’t articulate their understanding of the organisation to applying to. It would be fair enough to assume that a potential employee might have a bit of an understanding of the organisation that they’re applying to get a job with for the next 10-20.30 years.
