Air Services Firefighter Recruitment 2017
Hi there, Brent C here for firerecruitmentaustralia.com and today I’ve got a firefighter recruitment update for Australia.
We have got word that the Air services or ARFF are going to be starting their recruitment this year towards the end of this month in June. The application officially opened last 26th of June and closes on 16 July 2017 so there is absolutely no time to waste.
So, if you’re looking to get a job with ARFF air services, make sure you keep an eye on their website there at Airservices.
The ARFF recruitment process starts with the application form. As a tip, have your resume and legal documents ready whilst lodging your application online. You’ll never know what to expect so better be ready than sorry. Have a professionally written CV or resume as this stage serves as the first filtering process to weed out the weak ones.
Another thing to bear in mind is that other fire services choose to integrate the first aid training in the recruit course. However, Air services has a different take on that. Applicants are required to have a senior first aid certificate or equivalent.
This is a good opportunity for those of you that just want to get some experience in firefighter recruitment for the chosen service you have coming up because Airservices has a really stringent testing programme. The aptitude testing is among the hardest tests in Australia so you want to get some experience there. I suggest going and joining into that recruitment process even if this is not your first choice.
Air Services Firefighter Recruitment 2017 will be as competitive as usual so make sure you prepare and train hard.
If you want to give yourself the best chance, know that there are e-books and one-on-one coaching services available. These are proven to cut off the chase in finding the right resources that work.
If you want a more targeted approach and if you see the value in investing in yourself to get this career, then these are for you. If not, there is always the free training available as an alternative.
Cheers,
Brent
