Learn How To Succeed At The Firefighting Aptitude Test

Brent here with some helpful information on practice exams for fire service recruitment.

If you’re applying for any of these fire services: SAMFS, FRV, FENZ or ACTFR, it means you have more or less 3 months to prepare for the recruitment intake and the most dreaded yet inevitable Aptitude exam. As you know, we have already updated our e-Learning Centre both for Aptitude and Interview. On it, you will see additional features and new practice questions all aimed to further improve our aptitude test-taking skills.

First off is our online whiteboard feature that allows you to solve problems while working on the exam item itself. You can choose to clear or keep the notes on there. The notes can be revisited for as long as the exam pop-up is open.

Next, you can keep track of your score as well as ‘PIN’ questions you need to work on or get coaching on so you can download a PDF file that’s user friendly and very helpful for your coach to help keep monitor your progress and areas for improvement.

Last but not the least, get the ability to retake/review answers at any time as well as keep track of clarification requests you have submitted on specific aptitude questions.

There you have it…

Plenty of things to experience in the e-Learning Centre just for Aptitude alone. Make sure to give the Interview tab a try too! There are a lot of cool new features there as well.

Things to look forward to in the coming month or so would be add-on exams for FRV Pearson VUE, QFES Pearson VUE and FENZ SHL.
