Conclusion – Firefighter Recruitment NSW 2021 & 2022
The process of How to become a firefighter in NSW does not seem to have changed.
Although you may be disappointed the next recruitment has been announced and is not until 2022 this gives so much opportunity to do the work you may need in order to beat the other 6000 or so applicants.
On the positive side the word on the street is FRNSW is short by as many as 600-700 operational employees looking into the future so I wouldn’t be surprised if the recruitment is either ramped up bought forward or they have 2 or more in the year which has happened many times.
The key as always is to be ready when they spring the announcement so you are ready.
