New Updates: Air Services Recruitment 2018

Hey everyone!

Brent Clayton here – bringing you updates and reminders regarding the ARFF recruitment.

With the application well underway since the 21st of March, I would like to give you some tips about what you can expect for this intake.

  1. Recruitment ends on 11 April 2018.

Be sure to get all your requirements together (you can refer on previous blog entry) and submit a complete your application well before the due date. Late submissions will not be accepted.

  1. Know your strengths and what makes you a good fit for the position.

To those who have not yet submitted their application, be ready to support the above statement as you go through the online stage. To those who already have submitted, internalize your answer and/or enhance it for just in case you get asked the same question again during the interview stage.

  1. Email is a MUST!

An application cannot be submitted without a working email address. That being said, you should be checking your email regularly for any and all communication from ARFF as that is their main mode of communication. Remember, emails can be in your inbox or spam folder so be sure to check both.

Additionally, if you opt-in for the SMS notification, be sure to double check the number you’ve registered on your profile.

Training with ARFF is paid. It will be long and gruelling but it paves the way for a very rewarding career.

Successful candidates will be paid $39, 811 per annum plus superannuation. Upon successful completion of the course, this will increase to $61, 175. That’s a really awesome news for all aspiring applicants!

I hope this article has helped you in some way in preparing and knowing what to expect with this year’s ARFF recruitment. Please be advised though that this is just to serve as a guide. Details may still change as ARFF sees fit or in response to unforeseen changes in operation requirements, as they put it. Additionally, if you need assistance in any stage of the application, feel free to reach out to us. Fire Recruitment Australia is always happy to help.

Cheers,

Brent Clayton
