DFES Firefighter Recruitment Update 2014

Just wanted to give everyone an update about the Western Australian fire service recruitment process.

DFES has added a driving validation component to their selection process, just something to be aware of if you are preparing, not something to worry about.

I have included the details for you below.

WA Fire Service Recruitment, Driving Validation = Driving a Heavy Rigid vehicle, the purpose behind this validation serves to assist DFES in determining a candidate’s general ability in driving a vehicle. Candidates are rated only, no failures unless road rules are broken.

As it says above no failures unless road rules are broken, This would be a great place to start sharpening up your skills to ensure you don’t fail this step.
