So this is really exciting news for a lot of you. WA Fire Service have just announced that they’re in the planning phase of their firefighter recruitment campaign for 2018. And that they’re likely to start their recruitment in the latter stages [of 2018]. So that’s DFES looking like they’re going to be recruiting later this year.

The good thing about this is they’ve given you plenty of notice so that you can get prepared and get ready and make sure that you’re going to be able to compete up in the top 5% of applicant for the DFES as a firefighter.
