I have created the following page for you to practice firefighter aptitude tests for each state in Australia.

And the subject I want to talk to you about today is Aptitude testing and in particular, the question types that you’re using to practice.
So, I was just talking to a friend of mine that’s been struggling to find the right questions. He’s looking to get into the Victorian Fire Service which is recruiting at the moment and I’m like “we’ve got hundreds of them specifically based on the last bunch of test in our testing platform so in our Aptitude Improvement Process Platform we’ve got hundreds of questions.”
What people do that DON’T become successful is use any old questions to practice on. So after speaking to him and the fact that he knows me, that just prompted me to make this quick video and let you guys know that there’s that specific resource so if you’ve got the test coming up next couple of days or week or whatever, you need to be using specific test questions if you want to get quick results.
If you’ve got heaps of time, go to town, look for fundamentals and everything like that and you know, do it that way. But if you’ve got a limited amount of time, you need to be using specific test questions to get the results that you might need in order to get a crack at the next component of the recruitment process which let me tell you is going to be competitive.
So you’ve got at least 3600 or 3800 other people competing for these positions. If you think you can just sort of wing it, that’s not going to happen. So hopefully, this has prompted you to do something if you haven’t already and get that preparation done so that you can get a crack at the next component of testing. So for Victoria, that’ll be a Group Assessment which needs some thought and preparation as well.
