Tasmania Firefighter 2020 Recruitment Update

Hello everyone! In the last year or so, Tasmania Firefighter Recruitment at TFS has been quiet in the firefighter recruitment department due to a lot of reasons. However, all of that is going to change this year!

TFS is starting to get some momentum and will be advertising soon. No set date yet nor is there news on how many they will be recruiting. They will continue to hire as required using the same process.

Furthermore, TFS is marketing the opportunity to “try” before you apply. The dates available are 15, 16, 22, and 23rd February and can be booked on the providers website. Be sure to grab one of the 36 slots available during each tryout.

It’s a golden opportunity to either try the physical exercises yourself or get a chance to speak with active TFS firefighters and get tips and insights for the upcoming recruitment drive which won’t be too far away now – either towards the end of February or early March.

TFS is still using Cognify for the Cognitive Ability Assessment and SafeSelect for the Psychological Assessment. This is great news for us because Fire Recruitment Australia has the tools and resources that cover both exam types inside the membership portal.
